Build Your Library (BYL) is a secular, literature-based curriculum designed by a librarian and homeschool mother. It uses living books to teach history, science, language arts, and art appreciation, with a clear Charlotte Mason influence: narration, copywork, nature study, and picture study are woven throughout.

Each level provides a detailed weekly schedule covering 36 weeks. The guide book ($68 per level) lists every book, assignment, and activity day by day. Families then source the books · the creator specifically chose titles that are widely available at public libraries to keep costs manageable.
