Deep Space Sparkle is an online art curriculum created by Patty Palmer, an art teacher with over 13 years of classroom experience. The membership (called The Sparklers' Club) provides access to hundreds of art lessons organized by grade level (K-7), each with step-by-step lesson plans, video demonstrations, supply lists, and standards alignment.

Lessons cover drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and art history. The membership includes done-for-you curriculum options (EPIC, Art History, and Global Art Passport) so you can follow a structured sequence or pick individual lessons by theme. The lessons are designed to be taught by non-artist parents or teachers.

What to Know

The membership costs $38/month or $379/year. Enrollment opens twice a year (January and August) with occasional waitlist openings between. Individual courses are also available at $179 each outside of the membership.

Deep Space Sparkle is popular with both art teachers and homeschool families who want a real art curriculum rather than just craft projects. The lessons are rigorous enough to count as a fine arts credit. Over 6,000 teachers currently use the membership.
