Traditional FamiliesStructuredReading-Heavy

Memoria Press is a classical Christian curriculum known for its simplicity, beauty, and rigor. Founded by Cheryl Lowe, the program focuses on the classical trivium — grammar, logic, and rhetoric , with a particular emphasis on Latin, great books, and systematic memorization.

The curriculum covers PreK through 12th grade with clearly structured packages at each level. A hallmark of Memoria Press is that every product is designed to be easy for the parent to teach: lessons are short, scripted, and follow predictable patterns. There are no sprawling teacher manuals to study in advance.

What to Know

Latin begins in 2nd grade and continues through high school, which is earlier and more sustained than most classical programs. The literature selections focus on the Western canon , Homer, Virgil, Shakespeare, and great works of Christian tradition. History is taught chronologically with a particular emphasis on ancient Greece, Rome, and the Christian world.

Memoria Press also offers Highlands Latin School Online, providing live instruction for families who want a teacher-led classical education experience. The online school uses the same curriculum but adds live class sessions and teacher grading.

Pricing ranges from $100-400 per year depending on whether you purchase individual subjects or full-grade packages. The materials are beautifully printed with a clean, uncluttered aesthetic that reflects the program's philosophy of simplicity.

The curriculum is explicitly Christian and Catholic-friendly, drawing heavily from the Western Christian intellectual tradition. It's a widely used programs among Catholic homeschool families and classical Christian communities.
